The Conditions of Use set out the house rules for this website — what you may do with our material, how giving works, and what to expect when you send us a prayer request.

We only receive what you choose to send us, and both forms on this site work the same way: they open your own email app with the message written for you, and it reaches us when you press send.

• Prayer request form — your name, email, an optional phone number, the request itself, and whether you asked us to keep it private to the prayer team.
• Special donation request form — your name, email, an optional phone number, the amount you intend to give, your preferred payment method, and an optional message.
• Email or phone to us directly — whatever you include in that message.

We never ask for card numbers, bank logins or passwords through this website.

Like most websites, ours loads a few outside services — advertising, video and map players. Those services may place cookies and record standard technical details such as your browser type, device, approximate region and the pages you visit. We do not build a profile of you and we do not buy or sell lists of personal information.

Where the law requires your agreement first, those services stay switched off until you allow them, and your choice is kept on your own device so we do not have to ask you again. Elsewhere they load as normal, and you can switch them off at any time with the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

• To pray for you and follow up when you ask us to.
• To reply to donation questions and send payment instructions.
• To keep a record of who has given, for receipts and accountability.
• To understand which parts of the site people use, so we can improve it.

These services are part of the site and each has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how they handle data once it reaches them.

• Tithe.ly — processes card giving. Your card details go to Tithe.ly, not to us.
• Zelle and Cash App — you send money directly from your own bank or app.
• Google AdSense — shows ads and measures how the site performs.
• YouTube and Facebook — the live stream, video player and Facebook timeline are embedded from their servers, so they can see that you loaded the page.
• Google Maps — powers the directions map in the Visit section.

We do not place our own tracking cookies. The outside services above do, and you can control them at any time:

• Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer of this site to switch ads, the video and social players and the map on or off. The choice is saved on your own device, not sent to us, and you can change it whenever you like.
• Turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com).
• Opt out of many ad networks at aboutads.info/choices.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site still works, though the video and map players may not load.

Prayer requests are kept only as long as the prayer team needs them, then deleted. Donation and correspondence records are kept for as long as the law requires for financial and tax records. If you ask us to remove your details, we do, unless we must keep them for a legal or accounting reason.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with the service providers that help us operate — email hosting, giving processors and the website host — and only so far as needed to do that job. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, such as a valid court order.

This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If a child has sent us something, a parent or guardian can email us and we will delete it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect what we hold, and we limit access to those who need it. No email sent over the internet is completely secure, so please do not include sensitive financial details such as card numbers or account passwords in a message to us.

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask that we stop contacting you. Email Info@patmosoutreach.org and we will act within 30 days. There is no charge.

If we change this page, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the website so regular visitors can see them.
